After completing basic medical qualifications, Prof. Dua trained as a specialist in eye diseases (Ophthalmology) in India, England, Scotland and USA. He then undertook advanced Cornea and External Eye Disease training as a Fellow, at the Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia.
Prof. Dua has over 40 years' experience in the diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases. He has served as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Professor of Ophthalmology, Nottingham, since 1994. He specialises in the treatment of simple to complex cases of eye diseases affecting the front half of the eye.
Prof. Dua provides advanced medical treatments for dry eyes, conjunctivitis, corneal inflammation and infection. He also offers surgical treatments for cataract, keratoconus, corneal scars and other surgeries including refractive lens exchange, phakic implants, corneal transplants, stem cell graft and amniotic membrane grafts.
